A deep-cleaned kitchen isn't just about appearances — it's about hygiene, pest prevention, and appliance longevity. Our professional cleaners follow a strict sequence that maximises efficiency and results.
What you'll need
- Degreaser spray (for chimney, stove, and tiles)
- Baking soda + white vinegar (natural alternative)
- Microfibre cloths (at least 6)
- Old toothbrush (for grout and corners)
- Scrubbing pad
- Rubber gloves
The sequence (top to bottom, dry to wet)
Step 1 — Chimney & exhaust (30 min): Remove filters and soak in hot water + degreaser. Wipe the interior with degreaser spray. This is the dirtiest part — do it first so grease doesn't drip on clean surfaces.
Step 2 — Cabinets & shelves (30 min): Empty cabinets, wipe interiors with a damp cloth, clean door fronts with a mild degreaser. Reorganise as you go.
Step 3 — Stove & hob (20 min): Remove burner caps and soak. Spray the hob with degreaser, let it sit for 5 minutes, then scrub. Use the toothbrush for crevices.
Step 4 — Tiles & backsplash (20 min): Spray with degreaser, scrub grout lines with the toothbrush, wipe clean.
Step 5 — Sink & countertops (15 min): Scrub the sink with baking soda, rinse. Wipe countertops with a disinfectant.
Step 6 — Appliances (20 min): Wipe down the fridge exterior, microwave (inside and out), and any other appliances.
Step 7 — Floor (15 min): Sweep, then mop with a floor cleaner. Pay attention to corners and under the fridge.
